Vivo has just launched its Vivo V25 series in the USA market. Of these, the Pro version is currently making news headlines. For the purposes of this review, I received Vivo V25 Pro. Vivo V25 Pro which no doubt is stylish. Vivo does not disappoint its users when it comes to design and ergonomics. This time , the company has attempted to provide an original design, as well as an exclusive camera island.
When it comes to specs, the phone looks almost identical to the newly released OnePlus Nord 2T as both have the same chip Yes I’m speaking of the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor. Additionally the phone comes with triple rear camera technology that produces amazing images which we’ll discuss in depth.
I was using the phone for over an entire week, and I tested the majority of its capabilities and performance characteristics. Here is an extensive review on the device to help you decide whether you would like to invest in the phone or not. I’ll discuss the advantages and disadvantages associated with Vivo V25 Pro based on my experience with it. The figures that I share on this page are based upon multiple tests I conducted with the device.
Pricing and Availability
The 8GB RAM version from the Vivo V25 Pro along with 128GB of internal storage is now offered in the USA market for a price of $440 Approx.
The phone is available in two color options available: Pure Black and Sailing Blue. The smartphone is available to purchase through Flipkart and all users who buy the phone Kotak, SBI, and ICICI debit and credit cards will also be eligible for an additional 10% cashback.
Design
Once you get your phone out of its box, you’ll be amazed absolutely. I was able to test it in the Sailing Blue colour variant which is awe-inspiring for sure. It comes with the look of a curved glass, coupled with metallic edges and flat bottom. The phone can be used all day with no issues because of its ergonomic design and light weight, weighing 190 grams. The Vivo brand of the smartphone is visible in the lower left side of the panel on the back.
Another great feature of this smartphone is the back panel that can change color. The panel that is available this time is different from the one we’ve seen on Realme 9 Pro Plus and the Vivo V23 Pro. In light of that we can conclude that the Vivo device does not present a superior design over its predecessors.
However, the phone does just fine for the price in terms of style and design. The camera module that is rectangular on the phone is located on the left-hand side of the top of the phone. It has two big circular sensors as well as an additional sensor on the edge. The buttons for power and volume of the phone are located on the right side of the spine. The speaker grilles, USB Type C port as well as the SIM tray are on the bottom of the phone.
Display
The Vivo V25 Pro features 6.5-inch curve AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. I’m sure you’ll agree when I say the smartphone provides a top-of-the-line streaming and viewing capabilities. However, I didn’t really like the default color saturation settings.
However, it is modified according to the presence of the user by altering the color temperature. When I was watching Sandman on Netflix that is a show that is shot with dark tones I couldn’t detect any white patches. Instead the screen was totally black.
The best part is the fact that the display panel on the smartphone can play HDR content from Netflix. The panel is crisp while watching films and shows and has a maximum brightness of 1330 nits.
